It's dark, but the roosters remind me of the hour. The mattress beneath me reminds me of comforts I have been without for a few days. The absence of the sonorous vibrations from any of the four people in my room or the ten in the next reminds me that I am no longer with the team on the mountain in Petit Goave. I feel torn. The conflict is not difficult to resolve. Like so many things, it's one that requires consistency, and for that, I am solely responsible. Doing all I can do is all I can do.
